Happy Birthday, Grandma!

Grandma and Grandpa Fleming came to visit last weekend to celebrate Grandma's birthday. They arrived late Thursday evening so that Grandma could sleep in and not have a long drive ahead of her on her birthday. Well, little Quinn didn't exactly allow the sleeping in part, but at least they didn't have to drive! Mom and Dad played with Quinn in the morning, and then when Quinn and I took off for daycare/work, they got a little shopping in. Uncle Ryan came over that night for pumpkin spice birthday cake and presents. We figured it was probably the first time we've all been together on an actual birthday since Ryan and I were in high school. Crazy!

The next day we ventured off to the Museum of Flight (Ryan's choice). I think it's required for someone in Ryan's field to visit this museum, and we were all happy to join him. Museums with a toddler are a little different than going with only adults; but frankly, I wasn't too interested in reading up on all of the details anyway, so Quinn, Grandma, and I had fun looking around and playing in the kids' area. Quinn loved playing in the planes, pressing the buttons, and in typical Quinn fashion, he tried to befriend any other child around him. He will consistently wave and say "Hiiiii" to just about anyone he sees now, it's so adorable (in my abundantly biased opinion). Anyhow, it was a nice day at the museum and we enjoyed a nice Seattle dinner on the water afterwards. Oh, and it was a GORGEOUS day! Fall has been stunningly beautiful this year.

Sportin' the shades!

Astro-Quinn
Seriously, could he be any cuter? :)
Lovin' all the gadgets!
Hang gliding, "Ahhh!"
Relaxing, but just for a second!
Learning about hot air balloons (aka, pressing any button he could get his little hands on)!
More learning. :)

I love them!

Pat wanted a picture in front of the bathroom Nixon would have used on Air Force One. Classy, I know. :)

It was so nice to have the family together to celebrate mom's birthday this year! Happy birthday, Mom!!
