One whole year has passed since we first laid eyes on our beautiful little girl, our Kira Lynae.  One whole year has passed since that memorable night when we raced to the hospital, barely making it in time for her arrival.  One whole year has passed since we experienced our hearts swell as we welcomed our second child into this world.  This has been the happiest year of our lives.

We have treasured this past year with Kira.  We have celebrated each milestone, from her first smiles to her first steps.  We have studied every fiber of her being, from each little roll on her legs to the sweet understated dimples on her cheeks.  We have watched her vibrant blue eyes disappear into her face when she is her happiest.  We have stared at her little tongue hang out of her mouth when she is concentrating.  We have wiped away her tears and nursed her back to health when she's been ill.  We have watched the relationship between her and her brother develop and grow, and have prayed that they will treasure this bond that they share forever.  

This year has been so full with Kira in our lives.  With her we feel complete.

We wish her the happiest of days today and always.  

Happy birthday, Kira.  You are so loved.
