Milestone: Rolling! Kira rolled over for the first time on the 4-month anniversary of her birth. And then she rolled again and again. The third roll is the one I captured on video, and you’ll be able to see she got pretty upset after that third time. I think that between the shock of rolling and hitting her head on the wood floor three times, she had had it! Poor baby, but way to go! Mommy and Quinn were so impressed!
What’s new: Kira started to get more active. She discovered her limbs and seemed to find them fascinating. She was particularly obsessed with her feet, and when put in her swing she’d lift a foot and examine it carefully while experimenting with its ability to move from side to side.
Sleep: Kira’s dreamy sleep habits dissipated. It may have been because we didn't have her sleeping in her inclined bassinet anymore, or perhaps the cold that she’s had, or maybe it was simply the 4-month sleeping curse. I hear most babies experience it. She was not successful at sleeping for long periods of time and woke to nurse at least every two hours. Co-sleeping kept me (relatively) sane.

* I should have 4 month stats for Kira, but I've become a slacker of a mom and just this week scheduled her 4-month appointment. She'll be a week shy of 6 months when we go in... I'm just on my own little schedule with this one. Ah well...
